What are Chapters?

Chapters are a way for players to form a group with their friends and compete in Tournaments across Isstvan III. Chapter members also receive benefits if they manage to rank in the top ten Chapters each season.

How are Chapter rankings determined?

Chapters are ranked according to their total Glory. Chapter Glory is a sum of a portion of each member.

First, the members are ranked by personal Glory and then…

The first 10 members add 50% of their personal total.
The next 10 members add 25% of their personal total.
The next 10 add 12% of their personal total.
The next 10 add 10%.
The final 10 add 3%.

What is Glory?

Glory represents your total accumulation of victories and losses on the battlefield. Chapter’s keep track of its members’ cumulative Glory. The top four Chapters can earn tournament rewards each season.

How does Glory work?

Glory is an ever-changing value. It rises and falls in a number of ways. You earn Glory every time you defeat/overtake a base on the world map. You may earn additional Glory by completing the bonus objectives associated with each particular base. For example, you may be able to earn 5 extra Glory points for eliminating every turret prior to overtaking the HQ of a base.

Conversely, you lose a small amount of Glory each time a base that you previously controlled is overtaken by the enemy. Opposing forces never give up, and so this happens automatically over time. As such, it’s important to wrestle back control of all bases. Additionally, you lose Glory each time your base is successfully attacked by another player.

As long as you  defeat enemy bases regularly, your Glory will go up over time. The only way to lose Glory is to allow bases to overtake your map and have your Chapter HQ defeated repeatedly, so be sure to plan your base so that it is well defended against incoming threats.
